🧪 What does my Product look like from the Customer Point of View?

Test your content and products in member, non-member and waitlist view — all inside the platform itself.

Updated over a week ago

Before you drop your link or start promoting your WithMe Hub, it’s a great idea to test your setup — just like a real customer would! 👀
This helps ensure everything looks and feels perfect for your audience before you go live.

📲 How to Preview Your Hub Like a Customer

There are 3 ways to preview your hub and products.

1️⃣ Use the Built-In Mobile Preview (Inside Your Dashboard)

On your Creator Dashboard, go to the “My Hub” page.

On the right-hand side, you’ll see a mobile preview section.

This preview:

  • Shows your hub from a member’s perspective

  • Updates in real-time as you make changes

  • Reflects product listings, descriptions, pricing, and checkout layout

  • Lets you see how your product appears while you're building it

Even when editing a product, you’ll see how it pans out visually at each step.

✅ This is the fastest way to:

  • Monitor layout

  • Adjust copy

  • Check design

  • Avoid going back and forth

⚠️ However, the preview may not always be 100% accurate for live testing.
To check for real-world bugs, loopholes, or checkout behavior, you should test the live site.

2️⃣ Test the Logged-Out (Non-Member) Live View

To see exactly what non-members see, you need to view your hub as a logged-out user.

Important

If you're logged into your creator dashboard and paste your hub link into another browser tab, you’ll be redirected to your dashboard.

This happens because you’re already logged in as a creator — not because members see your dashboard.

To properly test the non-member view, you can:

  • Use Incognito / Private mode

  • Use a different browser

  • Or log out completely

The easiest way:

Click your hub link at the top-right corner of your dashboard (not the copy icon).

This opens a new window showing the logged-out live version of your hub.

From here, you can:

  • Browse landing pages

  • Test product listings

  • Click into checkout

  • Review payment flow

  • Experience your hub exactly like a new visitor

This is how you test the full non-member customer journey.

3️⃣ Test the Live Member Experience

If you want to see exactly what paying members experience, the best way is to create a real test account.

Recommended Method:

  1. Create a new member account using an alternate email address (not your creator email).

  2. Generate a 100% promo code: here's how.

  3. Use the promo code to join your own product for free.

  4. Log in as that member and test the full experience.

Now you can:

  • Access products as a real member

  • Test locked vs unlocked content

  • Check course navigation

  • Experience downloads (if enabled)

  • Explore community interactions

  • Test onboarding flow

This becomes your permanent live testing account for future updates.

💡 Pro Tip

Keep this test member account active.

Any time you:

  • Launch a new product

  • Update pricing

  • Change checkout settings

  • Add downloads

  • Adjust structure

You can instantly test the real member experience before announcing changes publicly.

✅ Summary

You have three powerful ways to test your hub:

  1. Dashboard mobile preview (fast build view)

  2. Logged-out live site (non-member flow)

  3. Real test account (full member experience)

Testing takes just a few minutes — but ensures your audience has a smooth, polished experience from day one.

✨ Testing only takes a minute — but it gives you peace of mind and ensures your audience has a seamless, polished experience from day one! 💼
