Sources are material you already create that Margo watches for content ideas and real stories. The more sources you connect, the more specific and grounded your generated content becomes.

RSS feed points to any blog or newsletter feed. Margo checks it regularly for new posts and ideas.

Transcripts are posts or meetings you have written down. Paste transcripts from Granola, Otter, Fathom, Fireflies, Zoom, or any other transcription service. Margo extracts stories and knowledge from them.

Voice notes are what you speak. If your device supports voice recording, you can record yourself talking about ideas, client wins, or questions. Margo turns the audio into text and mines it for content.

Google Doc is any shared document you give Margo permission to read. Paste the link (shared as "anyone with the link can view") and Margo watches for changes.

Notion page is any Notion page you share. Paste the page link and Margo will read it.

Go to the Integrations tab and select the source type. For RSS, Google Doc, and Notion, you paste a link. For transcripts, you paste the text. For voice, you record directly.

You can add and remove sources at any time. Margo will check them when you generate content ideas.

When you generate ideas or let Margo run the idea engine, it reads from your sources to find material that is working in your niche and remix it in your voice.

Margo also extracts Knowledge Bank entries from your sources. If you mention a specific client result or a statistic in a transcript, Margo can recognise it and add it to your Knowledge Bank with a badge showing it came from a source.

This is how your content stays grounded in real material instead of becoming generic.

You do not need to connect all source types at once. Start with one: a transcript from a recent meeting, or a Google Doc where you keep notes. Margo will do the rest.
