Setting up your hub with AI using your website

Learn how to build your AI hub from your website's text instead of a social media handle.

🌐 Build Your AI Hub From Your Website

When you set up your hub with AI, you can type your website address instead of an Instagram, TikTok or YouTube handle. WithMe will read your site and use it to help build your hub.

✅ Confirming Your Site

After you type your website address, you'll see "Is this your website?" along with your site's domain and page title.

  1. Check that the domain and page title shown match your website.

  2. If it's correct, choose Yes, build my hub.

  3. If you don't recognize the site shown, choose Not my site, try again to enter a different link.

If your site's image is a logo with a transparent background, it will show with a white background instead of transparency.

The "Is this your website?" card also shows your site's image, with a Not my photo, I'll add one later switch so you can skip using it if you don't want it.

✍️ What Gets Built From Your Site

Choosing Yes, build my hub builds your hub using the text from your website. Your AI-written bio and products come from your site's content.

If your website has a share image (the image used when your site is shared on social media), that image becomes your hub's profile photo, and in the default portrait style it's also used as your top banner. If your website doesn't have a usable share image, your profile won't get a photo from your site, and product pictures use standard stock photos.

⚠️ If WithMe Can't Read Your Website

Some sites block this, or only load properly with JavaScript. If WithMe can't read your website, you'll see "We couldn't read [yoursite.com]" with a few options:

  1. Choose Try another link to enter a different website address.

  2. Choose Build without it to continue setting up your hub without using your website's content.

  3. Choose Skip for now to move on and come back to this step later.

📱 Using a Social Handle Instead

Typing an Instagram, TikTok or YouTube handle still works the same way as before, with the existing "Is this you?" and not-found screens.

If you get stuck, message us from the chat bubble and we will help.
