Is WithMe GDPR Compliant?
While WithMe doesn't currently offer a dedicated GDPR compliance feature, there are a few easy ways you can configure your store to align with GDPR requirements.
For example, when setting up a Collect Emails or Applications Product, you can add a required checkbox asking users to agree to your terms before downloading a lead magnet. This ensures that your audience is actively giving consent to join your email list—an essential part of GDPR compliance.
You can also include your GDPR terms in your Terms & Conditions section. Just note that this section doesn't automatically appear on lead magnet opt-ins, so be sure to reference it in your opt-in flow where needed.
If you're using WithMe's Email Sequence feature for your email marketing, we recommend setting up a welcome flow that includes a confirmation email. This email can verify that the user has subscribed and explain how they can opt out at any time—another key GDPR best practice.
