๐บ How to Watch WithMe on Your Smart TV
Want to enjoy your favourite WithMe content on the big screen? We've got you! While there isn't a dedicated WithMe app in your TV's app store, you can easily cast or mirror from your phone, tablet, or laptop in just a few steps. ๐
๐ Option 1: AirPlay (iPhone, iPad, or Mac โ Apple TV / AirPlay-compatible Smart TV)
If you've got an Apple device and an AirPlay-compatible TV (most Samsung, LG, Sony, and Vizio models from 2019+), this is the easiest route.
Make sure your Apple device and your Smart TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Open Safari or Chrome on your device and go to withme.so. Log in to your account.
Navigate to the video or content you want to watch.
Tap the AirPlay icon (a rectangle with a triangle at the bottom) โ you'll find it in your video player or in Control Centre.
Select your TV from the list of available devices.
Enjoy your content on the big screen! ๐ฌ
๐ Note:
If you don't see the AirPlay icon, check that AirPlay is enabled in your TV's settings (usually under General โ Apple AirPlay Settings).
๐ก Option 2: Chromecast (Android or Chrome browser โ Chromecast / Google TV / Android TV)
Got a Chromecast dongle, Google TV, or an Android TV (Sony, TCL, Hisense, Philips)? You can cast directly from your Chrome browser.
Make sure your device and your TV/Chromecast are on the same Wi-Fi network.
Open Google Chrome on your phone or laptop and go to withme.so.
Log in and navigate to the content you'd like to watch.
On a laptop: Click the three-dot menu (โฎ) in Chrome โ select Cast โ choose your TV.
On Android: Swipe down to open Quick Settings โ tap Screen Cast or Smart View โ select your TV.
Start playing your video โ it'll appear on your TV! ๐
๐ Option 3: HDMI Cable (Any Laptop โ Any TV)
No smart features? No problem! A simple HDMI cable works with literally any TV.
Plug one end of an HDMI cable into your laptop and the other into your TV's HDMI port.
Switch your TV's input to the correct HDMI channel (use your TV remote).
Open your browser, go to withme.so, log in, and play your content.
Your laptop screen will mirror to the TV automatically. Done! โ
๐ Note:
If you have a newer laptop without a full-size HDMI port, you may need a USB-C to HDMI adapter โ these are widely available and affordable.
๐ Option 4: Built-in TV Browser
Many Smart TVs (Samsung, LG, Sony) come with a built-in web browser. You can use it to access WithMe directly โ no casting required!
Open the web browser on your Smart TV (usually found in your TV's app list).
Navigate to withme.so.
Log in with your email and password.
Browse to your content and press play! ๐
๐ Note:
TV browsers can be a bit slow and some don't support full video playback. If you run into issues, we'd recommend using one of the casting methods above for the best experience.
๐ก Quick Reference: Which Method Should I Use?
Your Setup | Best Method |
iPhone/iPad + Apple TV or AirPlay TV | ๐ AirPlay |
Android phone + Chromecast/Android TV | ๐ก Chromecast |
