The carousel editor gives you full control over the look and feel of each slide. You can edit text, change fonts, adjust backgrounds, and move images around.
Editing slide text
Click the headline text on any slide to edit it directly. Your changes save when you're done. You can use different headlines on each slide, or rewrite all the text at once.
Changing the font and text style
At the top of the editor, pick a font from the dropdown. There are seven: Inter, Outfit, Bebas, Playfair, Caveat (handwritten), Lora and Pirata. Next to the font, pick your text style:
Scrim: White text with a semi-transparent dark bar behind it. Readable over any photo.
Highlight: Emphasised text with a highlight behind it.
Clean: Text with no background behind it.
Plain: No background and no effects, so the backdrop's own design carries the look. This is the default on designed backdrops.
Your choice applies to every slide in this carousel, and is saved when you close the editor. If you reopen it later, your font and style are restored.
Adjusting the background colour on a slide
Tap the palette icon to pick a background colour for the current slide. Each slide can have its own colour, or you can apply the same look to all of them.
Moving and zooming slide images
If you are using your own photos as slide backgrounds, you can adjust how the image sits on each slide. Use the zoom controls to make the image larger or smaller, and drag the image to move the focal point. This lets you ensure an important part of the photo is not cut off.
You can also apply a subtle colour wash over the photo to change its mood or make the text easier to read.
Replacing an image with a photo from your Photo Bank
Tap the image icon to open your Photo Bank. Choose a different photo from your uploads to swap it in on this slide only.
Undoing changes
Use the undo button (arrow pointing left) to reverse your last edit. The redo button (arrow pointing right) puts it back. Undo works on headline edits and image positioning, but not on image regeneration or replacement.
