💾 Your Edits Save Themselves
Good news, you don't need to lift a finger when it comes to saving! When you're editing a page in Dez, you don't need to save anything manually. About a second after you make a change, Dez quietly saves it to your draft automatically, so you can stay focused on your content instead of worrying about losing work.
Every edit goes to the same draft, so it's always kept up to date with your latest changes. You'll never end up with a draft that's missing something you just did: Dez has your back, even if you're making lots of quick changes in a row.
This means you're free to experiment! Try a new layout, tweak your copy, swap an image, whatever you do, Dez is saving as you go, so there's no "undo everything" moment to fear.
✅ How You Know It Saved
You'll see Saved to your drafts appear once the save has actually happened, not before. That timing matters: it's a reliable confirmation, not just a hopeful message. If you see it, your change is safely stored, so you can move on with confidence.
No spinning wheels, no guessing games, just a clear, simple signal that your work is secure.
🕒 Checking When a Draft Was Last Saved
Each draft shows you when it was last saved, for example Saved 1 Dec, 16:42. This lets you quickly check how recent your draft is at a glance, which is especially handy if you've been jumping between multiple pages or came back to finish something later.
It's a small detail, but a genuinely useful one, no more wondering "did I save this yesterday or an hour ago?"
🔄 Refreshing Mid-Edit
If you refresh the page while working in Dez, you'll land back on the same page you were editing, not back at the start of the chat. No need to scroll back through the conversation or re-navigate to find your place: Dez remembers exactly where you were.
