📬 How to Create a Collect Emails / Applications Product on WithMe

Want to grow your email list or gather info from potential clients? The Collect Emails / Applications product (also known as a Lead Magnet or Freebie) is perfect for that! It allows you to offer something valuable—like a guide, template, or e-book—in exchange for contact info.


🧩 What Is It?

This product type is designed to help you collect key info—like emails and phone numbers—from your audience. It’s always free (you can’t add a price), and it's meant to deliver value while growing your list or screening applicants.

🎁 Examples of lead magnets you can offer:

  • Downloadable templates

  • Quick-start guides

  • Short e-books

  • Google Docs or Notion links

You can deliver your freebie through either:

  • A downloadable file, or

  • A redirect link (to a page, doc, or site)


🛠️ How to Set It Up

  1. Go to the My Store tab in your WithMe dashboard.

  2. Click + Add Product at the bottom.

  3. Select Collect Emails / Applications.


🎨 Customize the Product Look

1. Thumbnail Tab:

  • Image: Upload your own or choose from our library (400x400px recommended).

  • Text: Add a title, subtitle, and button text to catch attention.


📝 Choose What Info You Collect

By default, Name and Email fields are required and can’t be removed.
You can:

  • Toggle on Phone Number if you want to collect that too

  • Make fields required so people must fill them out to access your freebie

  • Click + Add Field to collect even more info (options: text, dropdowns, checkboxes, etc.)


📎 Upload a File or Add a Link

To upload a file:

  • Go to the Product page

  • Click Upload File and choose your file

  • Once uploaded (look for the ✅), hit Save as Draft or Publish

To add a link instead:

  • On the Product page, choose Redirect to URL

  • Paste your full link (make sure it starts with http:// or https://)

  • Add a name for the link (this is what your audience will see)

  • Hit Save as Draft or Publish


⚙️ Optional: Advanced Settings

On the Options tab, you can:

  • Connect Email Sequences – automate follow-ups or nurture emails

  • Customize the Confirmation Email – what your audience receives after opting in

  • Add Integrations – connect tools like Mailchimp or Zapier

🚨 Heads up: A confirmation email will only be sent if your product includes a file or link.


✅ File Types & Recommendations

You can upload nearly any kind of file—PDFs, videos, templates, etc.
🎯 We recommend keeping files under 500MB for best performance.
