Connecting Stripe in the UAE
New WithMe creators connect a Stripe Standard account. A UAE business can apply subject to Stripe’s eligibility and verification requirements; being in a supported country does not guarantee approval.
Connect your account
Open Payouts in your creator dashboard.
Choose Connect Bank Account to start a first connection.
Follow Stripe’s prompts to connect an existing account you own or set up a new account for your business.
Complete the verification requirements Stripe shows for your account. Check your Stripe Dashboard for outstanding requests.
If you already use a legacy Express account and see the Standard accounts banner, choose Learn more and then Set up my Standard account. Existing payments and subscriptions remain on the old account; the new connection does not automatically move them. See Setting Up Payments in WithMe.
UAE verification requirements
Stripe’s UAE requirements include a UAE-issued trade licence or freelancer permit. Depending on the business type, Stripe can also require ownership documents, proof of an active bank account and identity documents for the representative and significant owners.
Use Stripe’s current UAE account activation requirements and the requests in your Stripe Dashboard. Submit documents through Stripe; do not rely on the old WithMe “Register”, “Save for later” or repeated “Update now” instructions.
Payment methods
Stripe currently lists Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link for UAE accounts. This is Stripe’s provider list; the methods actually offered in a WithMe checkout depend on the connected account, currency, customer and checkout configuration. Do not assume that all listed methods will appear or that buy-now-pay-later methods are available.
