ποΈ How to Organize a Multi-Module Course on WithMe
When building a course on WithMe, itβs important to structure your content so members can navigate it easily without endlessly scrolling through lessons.
WithMe uses a two-tier course structure, which keeps courses clean and easy to follow.
π Understanding the Course Structure
Courses on WithMe are organized like this:
Course β Chapters β Lessons
Think of it like this:
Course β Your main program or product
Chapters β Your modules or sections
Lessons β The individual pieces of content inside each module
Example structure:
Course: The Complete Fitness Program
Chapter 1 β Foundations
β’ Lesson: Welcome
β’ Lesson: Setting Your Goals
β’ Lesson: Warm-Up Routine
Chapter 2 β Strength Training
β’ Lesson: Upper Body Workout
β’ Lesson: Lower Body Workout
Chapter 3 β Recovery
β’ Lesson: Stretching Routine
β’ Lesson: Rest & Recovery Tips
This structure keeps your course organized and easy for members to follow.
β οΈ Important: WithMe Uses a Two-Tier System
WithMe currently supports two levels only:
Course
β Chapters
β Lessons
You cannot add another level like:
Course β Modules β Chapters β Lessons
If your course contains many lessons and you'd like additional grouping, there is a simple workaround you can use.
𧩠Workaround for Advanced Course Structures
If you want one more level of organization (for example: Modules β Chapters β Lessons), you can structure your course using multiple courses linked together.
Hereβs how:
Step 1 β Create Each Module as Its Own Course
Instead of building everything inside one course:
Create a separate course for each module.
Example:
Course 1 β Module 1: Foundations
Course 2 β Module 2: Strategy
Course 3 β Module 3: Implementation
Inside each of these courses, use the normal structure:
Chapter β Lessons
Step 2 β Set the Module Courses to Free
Since you want members to access everything through the main course, make sure these module courses:
Have no price
Are set as Free
You are not selling these individually.
Step 3 β Create a Main "Master Course"
Next, create a main course that acts as the central hub for your program.
Example:
Course: The Complete Business Program
Inside this course, create chapters like:
Chapter 1 β Module 1: Foundations
Chapter 2 β Module 2: Strategy
Chapter 3 β Module 3: Implementation
Inside each chapter, place the link to the corresponding module course.
Step 4 β Link the Module Courses
Copy the sales page link of each module course and paste it into the lesson description inside the master course.
When members click the link, theyβll open the module course.
This creates a three-level structure like this:
Master Course
β Module Courses
β Chapters
β Lessons
π‘ Important Pricing Rule
Only add pricing to the main course.
Do not add pricing to the module courses.
This ensures members:
Pay once for the main course
Automatically access all modules without extra charges
β When to Use This Structure
Use this approach when your course:
Has many lessons
Needs multiple layers of organization
Includes large training programs
Contains multiple modules with sub-sections
For smaller courses, the standard structure (Course β Chapters β Lessons) is usually the simplest and best option.
π Quick Summary
Standard structure:
Course
β Chapters (Modules)
β Lessons
Advanced structure workaround:
Master Course
β Module Courses
β Chapters
β Lessons
This keeps your course organized while giving your members a smoother learning experience.
