Migrating from Skool to WithMe — What to Expect

A practical guide for Skool community owners moving to WithMe — what migrates automatically, what needs manual setup, and how to bring your members across.

Migrating from Skool to WithMe

Skool is built around community and courses — but it takes a 2.9% cut of every sale and bundles you into a fixed format. WithMe gives you the same community + course foundation with 0% commission, plus everything Skool doesn't have: coaching bookings, email sequences, a full storefront, and custom domain support.

Here's exactly what the move looks like. 👇

✅ What Comes With You

🛠️ What Needs Manual Setup

  • Community structure — WithMe's community lets you create channels and posts. You'll set up your channels (free vs. paid) fresh — there's no bulk import of past community posts.

  • Classroom setup — Skool's classroom structure doesn't export directly. Lessons are re-uploaded or migrated by the DFY team and reorganised in WithMe's course builder.

  • Gamification — Skool's points/leaderboard system doesn't have a direct equivalent in WithMe. Your community engagement model will shift to WithMe's native engagement tools.

  • Affiliate links — Skool's affiliate program doesn't transfer. You'll set up WithMe's affiliate or referral system from scratch.

  • Email sequences — Any automated emails in Skool won't migrate. Rebuild them in WithMe's email flow builder.

📋 Before You Cancel Skool

  1. Export your member list (Admin → Members → Export CSV).

  2. Download all course videos and assets.

  3. Screenshot your classroom module structure so you can recreate it.

  4. Get fully live on WithMe before canceling Skool — announce the move to your members with a transition deadline so no one loses access mid-stream.
