Privacy policies and checkout terms in your Hub

Explains the difference between a privacy policy and the Checkout Terms & Conditions editor in Profile, including Save and Restore Default.

Privacy policy and checkout terms are different

The editable legal-text setting in Profile is Checkout Terms & Conditions. It edits checkout terms; it is not a custom privacy-policy editor.

Edit your checkout terms

  1. Open Profile and find Checkout Terms & Conditions.

  2. Turn the setting on to display the editor.

  3. Write or paste your checkout terms, then select Save.

Restore Default replaces the text in the editor with the default checkout terms. Select Save to save the text.

The checkout agreement asks customers to accept your checkout terms. Do not treat this as a separate privacy-policy consent setting for lead capture forms.
