How to Collect Information from Customers at Checkout on WithMe
Want to gather key info from your audience during checkout? WithMe makes it simple! When you're setting up a digital product, you can customize the checkout experience to collect details like names, preferences, or anything else you need.
✏️ How to Edit Checkout Fields
Open the product you want to edit in your WithMe dashboard.
Click into the Checkout tab, then scroll down to the Collect Info section.
By default, WithMe requires Name and Email at checkout—but you can add extra fields based on what you need!
🧩 What Kind of Info Can I Collect?
You can choose from several field types, including:
Text Input
Multiple Choice
Dropdown
Checkboxes
Want to make sure a question gets answered? Just mark the field as Required so the customer can’t complete the purchase without filling it out.
Once you're happy with your setup, just publish the product and try out the checkout flow yourself to make sure everything looks good!
🚨 Important Note:
WithMe doesn’t currently support file uploads at checkout or through digital product fields. So if you need your customer to send you something like a document or photo, you’ll need to collect that separately (e.g., via email or a follow-up form).
