Reply buttons let you turn an Auto DM message into a branching conversation. Instead of just sending one message after another, you add tap-able buttons that the recipient can choose from — and each button decides what happens next: jump to a specific follow-up message, or end the sequence there.
🔗 How This Builds on Sequential Follow-Ups
Auto DM already lets you queue up sequential follow-up messages that send one after another. Reply buttons sit on top of that: instead of every recipient moving through the same fixed sequence, a message with reply buttons lets the recipient's own tap decide which follow-up they see next, or whether the conversation stops there. You can mix both — a message can send as part of the regular sequence and still carry reply buttons that redirect specific recipients elsewhere.
🔧 Steps to Add a Reply Button
Open the Auto DM message you want to add a reply button to.
Select add reply button.
Set the button's label — this is the text the recipient sees and taps.
Choose what the button does when tapped: route to a specific follow-up message, or end the conversation there.
If routing to a follow-up message, select which follow-up message in your sequence it should jump to.
Repeat for any additional reply buttons on the same message — you can add more than one, each with its own label and its own branch target.
Save your changes. The reply buttons now appear on that message for every recipient who reaches it.
👆 What the Recipient Sees
When a recipient reaches a message with reply buttons, they see the buttons directly under the message and tap one to respond. Their tap immediately moves the conversation to whichever follow-up message you set for that button, or ends the sequence if that's what you configured — no typing required on their end.
