Why is PayPal Not Connecting to My WithMe Store?

If you’ve successfully connected PayPal to your WithMe store, but you're either seeing an error message in your Settings tab or PayPal isn't appearing as a payment option at checkout, there could be a few reasons behind it.

Here’s what might be going on:

  1. Email Verification:
    You may not have verified your email with PayPal yet. After setting up your PayPal account, PayPal should have sent you a verification email. Check your Spam or Promotions folder just in case!

  2. Business Account:
    Ensure you’re using a Business PayPal account. Personal PayPal accounts may not be fully compatible with PayPal's payment processing through WithMe.

  3. Verification Step:
    When connecting PayPal to WithMe, on the final step, be sure to select “Go back to WithMe” (or similar prompt). After doing this, you should receive a verification email from PayPal. Again, check your Spam or Promotions folders to make sure you don’t miss it!

  4. Bank Account Verification:
    Make sure you have a valid bank account connected to your PayPal account, and that PayPal has verified it. If your PayPal account isn’t verified yet, you won’t be able to receive payments. You can follow this link for more info on confirming your PayPal account.

Once you’ve taken care of these, everything should be good to go, and you can start accepting payments on WithMe! 😊
