Stripe Custom Accounts Now Available in the UAE 🇦🇪
Great news—WithMe now supports Stripe Custom accounts in the United Arab Emirates!
This means creators in the UAE can now accept credit and debit card payments directly through WithMe. 🙌
What You Need to Know:
✅ To open a Stripe Custom account in the UAE through WithMe, your business must be one of the following:
Sole Establishment (or a branch of one)
Free Zone Establishment
LLC (or a branch of one)
Free Zone LLC
You'll also need to provide a valid UAE trade license during Stripe’s verification process.
⚠️ Note: UAE Stripe accounts currently only support credit and debit card payments.
AfterPay, Klarna, and other buy-now-pay-later options are not available at this time.
💻 How to Set Up Your Stripe Custom Account (UAE):
Go to your Account Settings in your WithMe dashboard
Click on the Payments tab
Click Register next to Stripe
Select United Arab Emirates from the dropdown
Follow the prompts carefully to complete your account setup
Once you're verified, you’ll be all set to start selling on WithMe!
🛠️ Troubleshooting Tips
If you get stuck at a screen asking for more info:
Click "Save for later" — your info will be saved
Go back to Payment Methods, click "Update now", and complete any missing fields
You may need to do this up to 2 times if Stripe requires additional information.
