🧩 Getting Started with Your Community
🖊️ How to Edit a Community
Go to My Hub.
Next to your community, click Edit.
Update the name, description, access type, or pricing tiers as needed.
Click Save Community to publish changes.

You can create unlimited communities — free, paid, or product-specific.
🔗 How to Share a Community Link
Inside the community, locate your community name and description.
Click Invite to copy the shareable link and send it to your audience.
🧭 Setting the Tone: Rules & Guidelines
Creating community guidelines helps you maintain a fun, safe, and respectful space for everyone.
Go to My Hub.
Find the community you want to edit.
Click the three dots (⋯) next to its name.
Select Edit.
In the Description box, write a Community Guidelines section tailored to your needs.
Example: "Be kind. No offensive or abusive language. Respect everyone."
Under the Options tab, click Save Community to publish.
✅ Pro Tip: Your guidelines remain visible to all members — ensuring fairness and transparency in your community.

Use categories to organize posts into sections like:

To create categories:
Go to My Hub → Community.
Select the community you want to organize.
Look for the Category dropdown near the post box.
Click All Categories → + New Category.
Enter a short, descriptive name (max 30 characters).
Create as many as you want.
When posting, select the category: your post will appear under both All and that category. You can move a post to a different category later using Post options.
This keeps your community neat and easy to navigate.
💡 Tip: Categories are also great for building a structured video library inside your community. Upload videos directly to the community and assign each to a category so members move through content in a logical order, rather than seeing a random feed.
✏️ Edit or Delete a Category Thread
Edit: Click the category dropdown → ✏️ pencil icon → edit name → Save.
Delete: Click Delete in the edit box.
The category will disappear, but its posts will stay under All.
📌 Highlight Important Content: Pinning Posts
Pinned posts keep key information at the top of your community feed — perfect for rules, updates, or special announcements.
To pin a post:
Click Post options on the post.
Select Pin.
You can:
Pin 1 post per community, and
1 post per category as well.
All pinned posts also appear at the top of the All category.
🎥 Make It Engaging: Media & Events
📸 Supported Media Types
WithMe communities now support all major media — images, videos, PDFs, and more.
Members can comment, react, and even create posts (if they have access permissions).
💡 Tip: You don't need to create a separate product to add video to your community. You can upload videos directly. Many creators also add courses or single-session products as included content within the community.
🎬 How to Share YouTube Videos
You can share YouTube videos by embedding them into your community.
Method: Video Icon (For Embedding )
The video icon (🎥) next to the text box is for uploading video files directly OR embedding youtube/loom videos. Simply choose the "embed" link and enter your YT or Loom links.
🗓️ Add Events with the Calendar Feature
Keep your members updated with community events — webinars, lives, or meetups!
Locate the Upcoming Events section in the lower-right corner.
Click the Calendar icon to view events.
Choose your event platform — Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or any other external link.
Paste your meeting link, set the time (in UTC), and click Add Meeting.
A post will appear — click Submit Post to publish.
⚠️ Note: To add an event, use the text input box at the top of the community feed to write and submit your event post. The + button on individual calendar day cells is not the primary way to create an event.
⚠️ Note: WithMe Live (inbuilt streaming) is not available in the Community Calendar — the calendar supports external meeting links only. To host a native live stream on WithMe, add a Live media type inside a membership tier, course, or standalone digital product instead.
⚠️ Note: You can click Join at any time once the event has started, or before it starts. There's no countdown or waiting window.
⚠️ Note: Meeting links (like Zoom) on Community and Async posts now save and open correctly, and editing a post, thread, or comment with both a link and an attached image no longer overwrites the link with the image. Join and preview links open safely in a new tab.
🔒 Managing Access & Moderation
🕵️ How to Make a Community Private
Until our Private Community feature officially launches, here's a workaround:
Create a new community.
Set a high price to prevent public sign-ups.
Add your selected members manually through the Customers tab.
Add this note in your description:
"Invite-only community. Please do not purchase access — requests will be declined."
Once a customer has paid, you can't remove or delete their account or subscription. This is because you've received payment from them, and under WithMe's terms and conditions, you must keep fulfilling the product until the end of their paid subscription period. The Remove option only works for members with free or invite-based access, not for paying subscribers.
🚫 How to Remove Comments or Posts
If a member posts something against your guidelines:
Open the post.
Click Post options.
Select Delete.
⚠️ Note: This action is permanent — double-check before deleting.
🧹 How to Delete a Community
On My Hub, click Delete next to the community name.
⚠️ This action cannot be undone.
