Not ready to sell yet? Still building your products behind the scenes?
You can start growing your audience before launch using a Waitlist. This lets interested members join early, share their email, and stay connected while you prepare your official release.
It’s the perfect way to test demand, build hype, and avoid launching to an empty room.
🚨 First Important Note
Your hub is automatically published once you complete Set Up Your Payouts by connecting your Stripe account.
If you're not ready to show your actual products yet, you can still keep them hidden while your waitlist collects sign-ups (we’ll cover that below).
🎯 What Is a Waitlist on WithMe?
A waitlist is simply a free digital product that:
Explains what you're building
Encourages people to sign up early
Captures their email address
Lets you notify them when you officially launch
Members who join your waitlist create an account, which means they are now part of your customer list.
🛠 Step 1: Switch to Storefront Theme
Waitlists work best with the Storefront theme.
Go to your Hub Theme settings and select Storefront.
👉 (See How to Change Your Hub Theme for detailed steps)
📦 Step 2: Create a Digital Product for Your Waitlist
Go to My Hub
Click + Add Product
Select Digital Product
✏️ Product Name Example:
“Join My Waitlist for an Early Bird 20% Discount”
This product is your waitlist.
👉 (See How to Create a Digital Product for full setup help)
🖼 Step 3: Add Your Waitlist Landing Page
During product setup, you can add Landing Page Media (up to 10 images or videos).
You can include:
Canva long-form designs (auto-adjusts to screen)
Brand intro graphics
“Coming Soon” banners
Sneak peeks of your product
Behind-the-scenes clips
This is what visitors see before they join.
👉 (See How to Create a Landing Page for full setup help)
📝 Step 4: Write Your Waitlist Description
Your landing page description appears right below your media.
Make sure to explain:
What your brand is about
What you're building
Why they should join early
That they’ll receive an email when you launch
✨ Copy-Paste Template
Headline:
Something exciting is coming! 🎉
Description:
I’m currently building something special behind the scenes [add a brief description if you want], and I’d love for you to be part of it from day one.
By joining the waitlist, you’ll:
✅ Be the first to know when we launch
✅ Get an exclusive early-bird discount
✅ Get early access
Drop your email below and create your account so I can notify you as soon as we go live. I can’t wait to share this with you!
🎬 Step 5: Add “Coming Soon” Content Inside the Product
After someone joins, they can access the digital product area.
Here’s where you can build excitement:
A welcome banner saying “You’re on the list!”
A short welcome video
Behind-the-scenes clips
Sneak peeks or previews
This keeps members engaged instead of forgetting about you.
🔘 Step 6: Set the CTA Button
Name your button something action-focused like:
“Join Waitlist Now”
Set the product price to Free.
When someone clicks the button, they will:
Enter their email
Create a password
Instantly get a member account
Can see your welcome post or video inside the digital product
That’s it — they’re now on your waitlist 🎉
Their email is safely stored in your Customers tab for future launch emails.
🙈 Step 7: Hide Other Products for Now
If you're still building paid products:
Keep them Unpublished
This removes them from public view on your hub
Your waitlist stays visible, but unfinished products stay hidden.
🚀 Step 8: Publish & Start Sharing
Once your waitlist product is ready:
Click Publish
Go to the product on "My Hub" page
Click the 3 dots (⋯)
Copy the Sales Page Link
You can now share:
The waitlist product link with your members on stories, posts, emails or DMs
The Hub link on your bio as your link tree
Anyone who clicks on the sales page link you've shared will:
→ Land on your waitlist page
→ Read about your launch
→ Join by creating an account
💡 Why This Is Powerful
✔ You build an audience before selling
✔ You validate demand early
✔ You launch with people already waiting
