🎁 How Bundled Products Work on WithMe

If you've set up a subscription tier that includes a community, course, or other product as part of the bundle β€” you might be wondering: where does that bundled product show up? Does it have its own landing page? And what do your buyers actually see?

Great questions! Let's break it all down πŸ‘‡

πŸ€” What Are Bundled Products?

A bundled product is any product (like a community, course, or digital download) that's included as part of another product β€” usually a subscription tier. Instead of being sold separately, it comes along for the ride when someone purchases the parent product.

Think of it like a bonus that's baked right into the package. Your buyer gets one checkout, one purchase, and instant access to everything included in the bundle. No extra steps! πŸŽ‰

🏠 Do Bundled Products Appear on My Hub Homepage?

Here's the key thing to know: bundled products do NOT appear as separate tiles on your hub homepage. They won't show up alongside your other standalone products in your hub's product listing.

This is by design! Since bundled products aren't purchased on their own, there's no need for them to have their own storefront presence. It keeps your hub clean and avoids confusing your audience with products they can't buy directly.

πŸ“ Note:
If you want a product to appear on your hub homepage so people can purchase it individually, make sure it's set up as a standalone product rather than a bundled one.
Additionally you can allow individual purchases on bundled product as well just enable the "Allow users to purchase access to this community without purchasing products" toggle and set a price for individual purchase

πŸ›’ What About Landing Pages and the Purchase Flow?

Each standalone product on your hub has its own landing page β€” complete with a description, pricing, and a purchase button. But bundled products work differently:

  • No separate landing page β€” Bundled products don't need to have their own public-facing sales page.

  • No separate checkout β€” Buyers purchase the parent product (e.g., your subscription tier), and the bundled product is automatically unlocked.

  • Instant access β€” Once the parent purchase is complete, your buyer can immediately access the bundled product from their dashboard.

This means your buyers enjoy a streamlined experience β€” one purchase, everything unlocked. No extra clicks, no confusion! βœ…

πŸ“¦ What Can Be Bundled?

Right now, WithMe allows you to bundle communities with any product.

This means you can include a community with:

  • Digital products

  • Courses

  • Memberships

  • Free or paid products

When someone purchases (or signs up for) your product, they’ll automatically get access to the bundled community as well. πŸ™Œ

You can also bundle communities with free products β€” there are no limitations there.

⚠️ Current Limitation

At the moment, bundling two products together (like course + course, course + digital product, or product + membership) isn’t supported natively.

So while community bundling is built-in, product-to-product bundling isn’t available just yet.

πŸ”„ Workaround: How to Bundle Products Manually

Good news β€” there’s still a way to achieve this using a simple workaround.

Option 1: Make the bundled product free

  1. Create your main product (the one you’re selling)

  2. Create the product you want to bundle

  3. Set the bundled product’s price to free

  4. Copy its sales page link

  5. Add that link inside your main product (for example, as a post or lesson)

Now, when someone buys your main product, they can access the bundled product via that link.

Option 2: Use a 100% discount code (recommended)

If you’d like to sell the bundled product separately and include it as part of another product:

  1. Keep the bundled product priced normally

  2. Create a 100% discount code for it

  3. Copy the product’s sales page link

  4. Add the link inside your main product

  5. Share the discount code alongside the link

This way:

  • Customers who access it through your main product get it for free

  • Others can still purchase it at full price

πŸ“ Pro Tip

Place the bundled product link somewhere easy to find inside your main product (like a welcome post, pinned post or first lesson), so customers don’t miss it.

πŸš€ What’s Coming Next?

Native product bundling (just like community bundling) is something we’re working on β€” so this process will become much smoother in the future.
