🔀 How to Reorder Lessons Inside a Course Chapter
Want to shuffle your lessons around? Maybe you've added new content and need to rearrange the flow, or you've realized a different order just makes more sense for your audience. Either way — reordering lessons inside a course chapter is quick and easy! 🎉
📍 Where to Find It
The reorder option lives inside each chapter of your course. Here's exactly how to get there:
From your WithMe dashboard, click on "My Hub" on the left-hand sidebar.
Select the course you want to edit.
Click on 3 dots and hit "Edit course Content" (not Edit)
You'll see your course chapters listed on the left hand side. Click on the chapter that contains the lessons you want to rearrange.
Once inside the chapter, look for the Reorder button near the top of your lesson list.
🔄 Reordering Your Lessons Step by Step
Once you've found the Reorder button, here's what to do:
Click the Reorder button. Your lesson list will switch into reorder mode.
Drag and drop your lessons into the order you want. Just click and hold on a lesson, then move it up or down to its new position.
Once you're happy with the new arrangement, click Save (or Done) to confirm your changes.
That's it — your lessons are now in their new order, and your students will see the updated sequence immediately! ✅
💡 Tips for Organizing Your Lessons
Think about the learning journey — start with foundational content and build toward more advanced topics.
Group related lessons together — if two lessons naturally flow into each other, keep them side by side.
Review after adding new content — whenever you add a new lesson, take a quick look at the overall order to make sure it still makes sense.
🤔 Can't See the Reorder Button?
If the Reorder button isn't showing up, here are a few things to check:
Make sure you're inside a chapter — you need to click into the specific chapter first, not just the course edit settings.
Check that you have more than one lesson — the reorder option appears even if you have just one lesson but needs miultiple lesson for you to actually make an edit.
Try refreshing the page — a quick browser refresh can sometimes resolve display glitches.
