🔗 What Data WithMe Webhooks Send to External Tools

Learn what customer data your webhooks do and do not include, and why WithMe's built-in email marketing is the best way to segment your audience.

🔗 What webhooks include

When you connect WithMe to an external tool using a webhook, WithMe sends event data about what happened in your store.

Webhooks do not include your customer's name or any product-level segmentation data. This is true for every creator, on every integration.

🎯 Why this is intentional

This isn't a gap in our documentation or something you need to work around. WithMe is built this way on purpose.

We keep detailed customer and purchase data inside WithMe, where you can use it directly to market to your audience, rather than passing it out to third party tools.

📧 Use WithMe's built-in email marketing instead

If you want to segment your audience by what they've bought, use WithMe's own email marketing tools rather than relying on an external platform.

WithMe segments your audience through tagging based on product purchases. When someone buys a product, they're tagged accordingly, so you can send targeted emails to customers based on what they own.

✅ What to do next

  1. Open your email marketing tools inside WithMe.

  2. Look for segments or tags based on the products your customers have purchased.

  3. Build your campaigns around those tags instead of relying on customer data from an external tool.

If you get stuck, message us from the chat bubble and we will help.
