🔍 Understanding View Log for Webhooks

Learn why View Log is just a visual record of webhook deliveries and doesn't control whether your webhook is actually working.

🔍 What View Log Actually Shows

View Log in WithMe is a visual record of past webhook deliveries. It is there so you can glance back at what has been sent.

It is not a control over whether your webhook itself works. The webhook can be delivering events correctly even if View Log looks empty or incomplete.

✅ Trust the Receiving Platform

When you click Send Test from Settings, go check the platform you connected the webhook to (for example, Make). If that platform confirms it received the test payload, your webhook is working correctly.

This is true regardless of what View Log shows on the WithMe side.

📭 An Empty View Log Is Not a Problem

If View Log looks empty after you send a test, that does not mean the test event was not received. It also does not mean your webhook setup needs checking.

You do not need to wait for View Log to show anything before you move forward. If the receiving platform already has the test data, you can go ahead and map the flow there using that data.

🛠️ Where to Check

  1. Go to Settings, then Integrations, then Webhooks.

  2. Click Send Test on the webhook you want to check.

  3. Open the receiving platform (for example, Make) and confirm the payload arrived there.

  4. If it arrived, continue setting up your flow in that platform. There is no need to check View Log first.
