While you're on a free trial, your billing settings show a status chip so you always know where you stand. Depending on how many days you have left, you'll see "Free trial", "Free trial · 1 day left", or "Free trial · {{days}} days left".

This chip disappears once your trial ends or if you've never had one, and your billing settings show the normal view instead.

Your billing settings also spell out exactly when your trial ends and what happens next. You'll see a line like "Free until {{date}}, then {{price}} a month" (or "a year", if you're on a yearly plan).

This tells you the exact date your card will be charged and what the charge will be, so there are no surprises.

Normally your billing summary shows your next renewal date. While you're trialing, it shows your trial end date instead, labelled "Free trial ends {{date}}".

Once your trial ends, this line switches back to showing your regular renewal date.

Your trial status, dates, and billing guidance appear in whichever language you've chosen for your account.
