🔒 What This Does
On an Instagram automation, you can turn on 'Only send it to people who follow you' so your DM link only goes out to people who actually follow you.
This option is off by default. If you already have automations set up, none of them will change unless you turn this on yourself.
💬 How It Works On A Comment Trigger
Turn on 'Only send it to people who follow you' on your Instagram automation.
When someone comments your keyword, they get a short first message asking them to follow you and reply, along with an 'I'm following ✅' button.
When they reply or tap the button, WithMe checks whether they follow you.
If they follow you, they get the real message with your link. If they don't follow you yet, they get a 'not following yet' message with the button again so they can try once they've followed.
📩 Keyword DMs And Story Replies
If your automation is triggered by a keyword DM or a story reply instead of a comment, there's no separate first message. The follow check happens right away.
✏️ Customizing The Messages
You can customize the first message that asks people to follow you, the 'not following yet' message, and the label on the button.
🚫 What This Can't Do
This is different from sending a DM to everyone who already follows your account. WithMe can't do that, because Instagram doesn't give a way to detect new followers.
