🔗 Adding a link to your message
You can add links straight into your Auto DM message text. Just paste the link into the message, starting with https:// or www. A single link on its own line or at the end of your message, or your offer link, will usually turn into a tappable button instead of plain text. If you use two or more links, put a link in the middle of a sentence, or write very long text, the link stays as plain text.
This works for the main message and for any Follow-up messages you add.
✏️ Saving and editing
Open your Auto DM automation and go to the message where you want to add a link.
Type or paste your link into the message text, along with the rest of your message.
Save your changes. You can come back and edit the link at any time, even after the automation is live.
Set the automation live once you are happy with it.
📊 What happens to your links
If you paste in an external link that is not your chosen offer link, it is automatically turned into a short WithMe link. This gives you click tracking and creator attribution, so you can see how your link is performing.
In the automation, the offer field is labeled 'Link to a WithMe offer', with a note explaining that any pasted link becomes a short tracked link automatically. Linking a WithMe offer is optional: the field is marked optional, and you can paste any link instead.
The person who receives the message will not notice any difference. When they tap the link, it takes them straight to the real destination you linked to.
If you've turned on the follow check (Only send it to people who follow you), a link pasted into any message is held back until the person follows you, just like a linked offer.
