What This Does
On Instagram, your automation can post a public reply under the comment that triggered it, at the same time it sends the DM. This lets everyone browsing the post see a response, not just the person who commented.
This feature is only available on Instagram. Facebook Pages do not support public replies yet.
How to Turn It On
Open the Auto DM you want to edit.
Find the option labelled Reply publicly under their comment and turn it on.
Write your public reply text. You can add up to 3 short lines.
Save your automation.
How the Lines Are Used
If you write more than one line, they are used in turn. Each time someone triggers the automation with the keyword, the next line in your list is posted as the public reply. This helps your comment section look natural instead of showing the exact same reply over and over.
Keep in Mind
The public reply is separate from the DM. The DM still goes out as usual, this just adds a visible reply under the comment as well.
