📊 Reading the Audience Forecast When Sending a Broadcast

Learn how to read the audience forecast before sending a broadcast, including who gets it today, who is held until tomorrow, and how to fix overlapping sends.

📊 What the Forecast Shows

Before you send a broadcast, a forecast lets you check how it will actually reach your audience. It breaks your recipients into a few groups.

  1. How many recipients will receive the broadcast today.

  2. How many will be held and sent tomorrow instead.

  3. How many have unsubscribed and won't receive it at all.

  4. How many have an undeliverable address.

This gives you a clear picture of your broadcast's real reach before you hit send.

⏳ Why Some Recipients Are Held Until Tomorrow

Each recipient can only receive one broadcast or timed sequence email from you per day. If someone is already scheduled to receive a different broadcast or sequence email today, your new broadcast is held for them and sent tomorrow instead.

You don't need to do anything for these recipients. They're not dropped, just delayed by a day so they don't get more than one email from you at once.

🔁 When You Can't Reach Everyone Today

Sometimes overlapping campaigns mean it isn't possible to reach every recipient today. If that happens, you have the option to reschedule one of the overlapping campaigns so that everybody gets reached on the same day.

  1. Open the broadcast composer and check the forecast before sending.

  2. If the forecast shows recipients being held due to an overlapping campaign, look at rescheduling one of the campaigns.

  3. Adjust the timing so both campaigns can reach your full audience the same day.

Checking the forecast first helps you decide whether to send as is or adjust your schedule to reach everyone together.
