📝 Adding a Content Description to a Digital Product

Learn how to add a separate content description that appears on the content card after purchase, instead of your sales description.

📝 What Is a Content Description?

A content description is an optional field for your digital product that describes the content itself. It's separate from your sales description, which is the copy you use to sell the product.

Once a customer buys your digital product, the content description is what they see on the content card, not your sales pitch.

➕ How to Add a Content Description

  1. Open the add or edit form for your digital product's content.

  2. Scroll down below the content itself, where you'll find the option to Add a content description.

  3. Write a description that explains what the content actually is, for the customer who has already purchased it.

  4. Save your changes.

👀 Where Each Description Shows Up

Your sales description still appears on your sales page and on the storefront product card, where potential customers see it before buying.

Your content description appears only on the content card, after a customer has purchased access.

If you leave the content description blank, the sales description is shown on the content card instead. So you can add a content description if you want something different for buyers, or leave it blank and let your sales description do double duty.

✏️ Editing Later

If you update your content description, it only changes what appears on the content card. Your sales page and storefront listing stay exactly the same.
