On Instagram, a single link on its own line or at the end of your message becomes a button automatically; if you have two or more links, a link in the middle of a sentence, or very long text, the link stays as plain text. Below your button, a "Powered by WithMe" button appears by default, and you can switch it off per automation. If someone signs up through it, you earn a referral reward.

When a commenter replies to your automated DM, that reply lands in your own Instagram inbox. If your automation has follow-up steps or quick-reply buttons, Auto DMs can continue the configured flow within the allowed messaging window. Once the flow finishes, or for questions outside it, you answer in your own inbox yourself.

Meta does not guarantee that every automated DM gets delivered. If someone has a private account or doesn't follow you, they may not receive the message even though they commented the keyword.

If you already use ManyChat or another auto-DM tool on the same Instagram account, turn it off before setting up Auto DMs.

Running two tools at once means both can try to reply to the same comment. That can double-DM your fans and risk getting your account flagged by Instagram.

If the same person posts another comment with your keyword, they may receive another DM from that automation, but only after a 12-hour cooldown per commenter has passed.
