Adding Images to Otto-Generated PDF Products

How to add your own or library images to an Otto-drafted ebook, workbook, checklist pack or template bundle before publishing.

🖼️ Adding Images to Your PDF Product

When Otto drafts an ebook, workbook, checklist pack or template bundle, you can add images to the PDF. This is optional, your product works fine as text-only too.

📥 Where Images Come From

Otto cannot generate AI images itself. Your image options are limited to images you upload yourself or images you already have in your library.

You can upload JPG, PNG or WebP files, each under 10 MB, up to 3 images per product. Or you can choose images you have already added to your library.

✅ How to Add Images

  1. When Otto shows you the images option for your PDF product, choose whether to keep it text-only, upload your own images, or use existing images from your library.

  2. If uploading, select up to 3 files that each meet the size limit.

  3. If using existing images, pick them from your library.

  4. Choose where each image should appear in the PDF, including setting one as the cover if you want.

💳 No Extra Cost

Adding images, whether uploaded or reused from your library, adds no extra AI credit cost.

👀 Review Before Publishing

Before you publish, you can download the draft PDF to check how it looks, including any images you selected and their placement. This lets you confirm everything looks right before your customers see it.
