With Paid Direct Messages, you can monetize your inbox and manage all communications with your audience from one place. This feature allows members to send you a message by paying per message — and you can reply however you prefer: text, audio, video, or even a document!

🔧 Steps to Set It Up:
Go to "My Hub"
From the left-hand menu on your dashboard.Scroll to the bottom and click "+ Add Product."
Select "Custom Product."
Set:
Price per message
Message length limit (in number of characters)
Click "Next" and then "Activate Message."
📥 How It Works for Members:
Members will pay the set price to message you.
You'll receive the message in your inbox and can respond with text, audio, video, or PDF/doc — your choice!
💡 Subscription Integration:
If you offer subscriptions, you can include a free message quota as part of the membership perks.
Example: If a plan includes 5 messages/month, members can use those before being charged per message.
To add DM access as a membership benefit, open the membership tier's checkout page, add a benefit, and choose Direct Message — you can specify how many messages members receive. This is separate from the Message custom product described above, which is a standalone one-time purchase for a fixed period.
🧭 Managing Messages:
Head to the "Messages" tab on the left menu.
Here, you can:
View the full thread between you and a member
See how many messages they have left if they're on a subscription
Use the dropdown at the top to navigate between all message threads
