Why Are My Customers Required to Enter an Address on WithMe?
If your customers are seeing a required address field during checkout, it’s because tax collection is currently enabled on your WithMe store.
📍 Why This Happens:
With tax collection turned on, customers are asked to enter their address so taxes can be calculated accurately based on their location.
✅ Good to Know:
It’s completely up to you whether or not you want to collect taxes at checkout.
How to Remove the Address Requirement
If you’d prefer not to collect taxes (and remove the address field), here’s how:
Go to your Settings tab
Select Payments
Scroll to Enable Taxes
Toggle the setting off
Once that’s done, customers will no longer be prompted to enter their physical address during checkout!
