🎉 How to Create a Discount Code in WithMe
WithMe's Discount Code feature lets you offer your audience exclusive discounts, whether it's for a holiday promotion, a special offer for repeat customers, weekend specials, or anything in between! 🎁 It's a great way to boost sales and engage your community!
You can also display a sale price visually in your landing page copy by using strikethrough formatting on the original price — many creators use this as a simple complement to, or instead of, a discount code. 💡
✨ How to Create a Discount Code
Head over to the Landing Page tab of any product in your Hub. 🚀
Scroll down to the Advanced section, then toggle on the Add Discount Code option. ✅
Once toggled on, you'll be prompted to:
Choose a name for your Discount Code 🏷️
Set the discount percentage (e.g., 10% off, 50% off) 💸
Save as Draft or Publish to save your discount code
You can create as many discount codes as you want and delete them at any time if needed! 🎊
🎯 Restricting a Discount Code to Specific Products
Want a discount to apply to just one course instead of your whole storefront? Restricting a code to specific products is perfect for targeted promos, like a launch discount on a single course or a special rate just for your membership! 🎯
By default, a discount code you create applies storewide. If you'd rather it only work on certain items, follow these steps:
Go to your account/store Settings, then open the Coupons settings page — this lists every discount code you've created across all your products, including the one you just made via Landing Page > Advanced. 📋
Find and open the coupon you want to restrict.
Open the product picker.
Select which products it should apply to — memberships, courses, community, custom products, and more! You can pick one, several, or all of your products. 🎯
Save your changes! ✅
💳 Discount Codes for Membership Products
When setting up a discount code for a membership product, you can customize it with the following options:
Duration: How many months of the membership the discount applies to (e.g., first 3 months at a discounted rate). ⏳
Expiration Date: Set when the discount code will expire and can no longer be used. 📅
