🎉 How to Create a Discount Code in WithMe
WithMe's Discount Code feature lets you offer your audience exclusive discounts, whether it's for a holiday promotion, a special offer for repeat customers, weekend specials, or anything in between! 🎁 It's a great way to boost sales and engage your community!
You can also set a Discount Price on many products, this automatically shows your original price struck through next to the current sale price on your storefront, product cards, and checkout. 💡
✨ How to Create a Discount Code
Head over to the Landing Page tab of any product in your Hub. 🚀
Scroll down to the Advanced section, then toggle on the Add Discount Code option. ✅
Once toggled on, you'll be prompted to:
Choose a name for your Discount Code 🏷️
Set the discount percentage (e.g., 10% off, 50% off) 💸
Save as Draft or Publish to save your discount code
You can create as many discount codes as you want and delete them at any time if needed! 🎊
🎯 Restricting a Discount Code to Specific Products
Want a discount to apply to just one course instead of your whole storefront? Restricting a code to specific products is perfect for targeted promos, like a launch discount on a single course or a special rate just for your membership! 🎯
By default, a discount code you create applies storewide. If you'd rather it only work on certain items, follow these steps:
Go to your account/store Settings, then open the Coupons settings page, this lists every discount code you've created across all your products, including the one you just made via Landing Page > Advanced. 📋
Find and open the coupon you want to restrict.
Find the 'Restrict to products (optional)' field.
Leaving this empty means the coupon applies to every product in your storefront. Select one or more products to limit the coupon so it only applies at checkout for those products. 🎯
Save your changes! ✅
On the Coupons settings page, a 'Products' column shows which products each coupon applies to: 'All products' for unrestricted codes, or a count/list (e.g. '+2 more') for restricted ones. You can click to edit a coupon's products at any time after it's created. 📋
If a customer tries to use a product-restricted code on a product it isn't valid for, checkout shows 'This code is not valid for this product'. 🚫
💳 Discount Codes for Membership Products
When setting up a discount code for a membership product, you can customize it with the following options:
Duration: How many months of the membership the discount applies to (e.g., first 3 months at a discounted rate). ⏳
Expiration Date: Set when the discount code will expire and can no longer be used. 📅
