๐ Content Scheduling, Drip Content & Publishing Options
Wondering if you can schedule your content or drip it out over time? Great question โ and we've got good news ๐
Here's how content publishing works on WithMe right now, along with practical ways to manage your content release effectively.
๐ How Content Publishing Works Today
WithMe does support scheduling, but with a slight difference from traditional drip systems.
When creating a post or lesson, you can schedule it to go live on a specific date and time.
However:
โ No join-based drip โ you cannot release content based on when a member joins (e.g., Day 1, Day 2, etc.)
โ Scheduled publishing โ you can set content to go live on a calendar date
โ Instant publishing โ you can still publish immediately if needed
๐ก Understanding the Difference
Scheduling (Available):
"Release this lesson on 10th Jan at 10 AM"Drip (Not yet available):
"Release Lesson 1 on Day 1 after purchase, Lesson 2 on Day 2"
๐ก Workarounds You Can Use Right Now
While join-based drip isn't live yet, here are a couple of effective ways creators are managing content delivery:
1. Use Built-in Scheduling ๐๏ธ
You can schedule each lesson or post individually using the date-based scheduler in the lesson settings.
This works great for cohort-based programs or fixed timelines.
โ Dripping by chapter is natively supported. To release one full chapter at a time, set the scheduled day for every lesson inside that chapter to Day 0 โ this makes all lessons in the chapter unlock together. Then schedule each chapter at your chosen interval (e.g. Chapter 1 on Week 1, Chapter 2 on Week 2). This is the recommended approach for delivering, say, 12 chapters over 12 weeks.
2. Use Email Sequences for Drip-Like Delivery ๐ฉ (Advanced)
You can create a drip-style experience using email (included in your plan):
Create each lesson as a Digital Product
Keep them drafted
Create an email sequence
Set the trigger to a ticket-style course purchase
In each email, share the lesson link
When a member purchases the course:
๐ The sequence is triggered
๐ Lessons are delivered step-by-step via email
Important:
Make sure these lesson products are set to free, so members aren't charged per lesson.
๐ Is Join-Based Drip Coming?
Yes โ we understand that join-based drip content is important for certain business models, and it's already in the works.
We'll be rolling this out soon, so stay tuned! ๐ฌ
