🖼️ How to Edit, Remove, or Replace Images and Media Within Course Lessons
Want to swap out an old screenshot, remove a PDF you no longer need, or replace an image inside one of your course lessons? Great news — you can do all of this without deleting and recreating the lesson! Let's walk through it. 🎉
📝 Understanding Lesson Media vs. Inline Media
Before we dive in, it helps to know that WithMe lessons have two types of media:
Lesson-level media — This is the main video or image attached to the lesson itself (the hero media at the top).
Inline media — These are images, PDFs, or other files you've embedded within the lesson's text content using the editor.
This guide focuses on inline media — the images and files sitting inside your lesson body text. 💡
✏️ How to Edit or Replace an Inline Image
Head to Products from your dashboard and open the course containing the lesson you want to edit.
Click on the lesson title to open the lesson editor.
Scroll down to the lesson body content area where your inline images and files live.
Click directly on the image you want to change — you should see it become selected or highlighted.
Use the toolbar options that appear to replace the image. You can upload a new file or paste a new image URL.
Hit Save when you're happy with the update! ✅
🗑️ How to Remove an Inline Image or PDF
Need to delete an image or PDF entirely? Super simple:
Open the lesson in the editor (same steps as above — Products → Course → Lesson).
Click on the inline image or PDF you want to remove so it's selected.
Press the Delete or Backspace key on your keyboard — the media will be removed from the lesson content.
Click Save to confirm your changes. Done! 🎉
💡 Pro Tip: Don't worry — removing an inline image only removes it from that specific lesson. Your original file isn't deleted from anywhere else!
