πŸ‘₯ Understanding Your Customers Area

Your Customers area is your home base for seeing everyone who has signed up, purchased, or been added to your Hub. But it's easy to mix it up with other features β€” especially the Visitor Agent. Let's clear things up! 🎯

πŸ” Customers Area vs. Visitor Agent β€” What's the Difference?

This is the most common point of confusion, so let's tackle it first:

  • Customers area β€” Shows people who are already in your system: paying members, free trial users, and anyone you've manually added. These are real, identified users with email addresses.

  • Visitor Agent β€” Shows anonymous visitors who have browsed your Hub but haven't signed up yet, and our AI Agent has identified. Think of these as potential buyers.

πŸ’‘ Pro Tip: If someone has started a free trial or purchased a product, they won't appear in the Visitor Agent β€” they'll be in your Customers area instead!

πŸ†“ Where Do Free Trial Members Appear?

When someone starts a free trial on your Hub, they show up in your Customers area straight away. To find them:

  1. Open your Creator Dashboard and click Customers in the sidebar.

  2. Browse your customer list β€” trial users will appear alongside paying members.

Trial users are real members with full access to whatever product they've trialled. They're not anonymous visitors β€” they've already given you their details and are actively exploring your content! πŸ™Œ

βž• Manually Added Users

Need to give someone access without them going through checkout? You can manually add members directly from the Customers area:

  1. Open your Creator Dashboard and go to Customers.

  2. Click the Add Customer button near the top-right of the page.

  3. Enter their email address and, if prompted, assign them to a specific product.

This is handy for gifting access, onboarding collaborators, or adding members from outside your usual checkout flow. ✨

πŸ“Š Tracking Everything in Insights

Want a higher-level view of how your members, trials, and conversions are performing? Head to Insights in your Creator Dashboard sidebar. Depending on your setup, you can typically see metrics like views, free trials started, and membership conversions over time β€” making it easy to understand what's working in your funnel and where potential members might be dropping off.
