🌐 What is a custom domain?
A custom domain shows your storefront on your own web address, like www.yourdomain.com.
Custom domains are part of the paid plan. Every paying creator can connect one, whether you pay monthly or yearly. You do not need to pay yearly to get one.
If you are on a free trial, the dialog lets you choose how you would like to pay and start your paid plan today. Then you can connect your domain straight away.
You need a domain you own at a domain registrar (your domain provider), such as GoDaddy.
✅ Setup checklist
Open More > Custom domain on your dashboard.
At your domain registrar, add the 2 CNAME records shown in the dialog. Use Copy to copy each one.
If your domain was used on another platform before, you may also need to add TXT records.
Leave your existing nameservers as they are. You do not need to replace them.
WithMe checks your domain automatically. You can close the window and the check keeps going. DNS changes can take up to a few hours to show.
If you want to start again with another domain, choose Cancel and use a different domain.
💡 WithMe no longer emails nameserver records. If you were sent 4 nameserver (NS) records in the past, you can safely ignore them.
🔗 Without www (optional)
Your storefront works on www.yourdomain.com without this step. It only helps people who type yourdomain.com on its own.
To set it up, open How to set it up in the dialog. At your domain provider, turn on forwarding (sometimes called a redirect) from yourdomain.com to https://www.yourdomain.com, set to permanent (301).
⚠️ Some providers, GoDaddy included, change your www record when you turn on forwarding. Check that Record 2 is still there afterwards.
🎉 After your domain goes live
When it is ready, the dialog tells you your domain is live and shows a Live badge. Your storefront now opens on your own domain.
When you share links, use the www address. It keeps the full link working.
If www.yourdomain.com is not showing your storefront and it only just went live, give it a few minutes. If it stays like this, contact support.
To add another domain, choose + Connect another domain.
🧹 Removing your domain
Choose Remove next to your domain, then Remove domain to confirm, or Keep it to go back. Your storefront stops opening on this address within a few minutes, so update any links you have shared. Your WithMe page, products and customers are not affected, and you can connect the domain again later.
🛠️ If the dialog shows a problem
If it says you are signed in as a different account (or signed out), choose Reload. If your domain settings do not load, check your connection and choose Try again.
