What follow-up messages do
After your first Auto DM goes out, you can set up follow-up messages that send automatically when the person replies. This lets you keep the conversation going and lead someone toward your offer, one message at a time.
Each follow-up only sends after a reply. If the person does not reply, the next message in the sequence will not go out.
How to add follow-up messages
Open your Auto DM automation and go to the Follow-up messages section.
Select Add follow-up to create your next message in the sequence.
Write the message you want sent when the person replies.
Repeat as needed. You can add up to 4 follow-up messages in total.
Use Send the link with to choose which message in your sequence includes your offer link.
Save your automation and set it live when you are ready.
Things to know
Follow-up messages send one at a time, in order, and only after a reply. You decide exactly which message in the sequence carries your offer link, so you can build up context before you share it.
