What reply buttons do
Reply buttons let you turn one Auto DM into a simple choice for the person you are messaging. Instead of waiting for them to type a reply, you give them up to three buttons to tap. The button they choose decides what happens next.
Adding reply buttons to a message
Open the message in your automation where you want to offer choices.
Look for the Reply buttons (optional) section below the message text.
Select Add button to create a button. Give it short, clear text so people know what tapping it will do.
Repeat to add more buttons. You can add up to three per message.
For each button, choose what happens when someone taps it: send them to another message in your automation, or end the conversation there.
Branching the conversation
Because each button can point to a different message, you can send different people down different paths from the same starting DM. For example, one button might lead to more details, while another ends the chat politely if someone is not interested.
You do not need to use a button on every message. Buttons are optional, and a message can also just wait for a typed reply if you prefer.
Ending a conversation with a button
If you want a button to close things out rather than continue the automation, set that button to end the conversation. This is useful for options like "No thanks" so people are not left waiting for a reply that will not come.
If you get stuck, message us from the chat bubble and we will help.
