🆓 Checkout Fields now work on free products too!
Checkout Fields let you ask buyers a custom question before they get access to your product. You could already add these to paid products, and now you can add them to free products as well! 🎉
This works on free webinars, free coaching calls, free link products, free memberships, free courses, free communities, free digital and custom products, and on any product claimed with a 100% discount coupon. 🎉
📋 Free webinars and coaching calls
If you add a Checkout Field to a free webinar or free coaching call, the question appears right on the Reserve a free place or Book a free coaching session card. 🙌
If the question is required and the buyer leaves it empty, tapping Get Access shows an error asking them to answer it first, no skipping it!
Once they answer and get access, you can see their answer against their name in your Customers list. Easy!
🔗 Free link products
Normally, a link product sends buyers straight to your outside link. If you add a Checkout Field to a free link product, it now opens its own product page first, showing the question before the buyer is sent on to the link. Nice and simple! ✨
🏠 Free memberships
When someone joins a free membership that has a Checkout Field, they see the question as part of joining. Their answer is saved and you can view it in Customers right away! 📥
📚 Free courses and communities
Checkout Fields also show up on free courses and communities, so you can ask your question before someone joins. Great for getting to know your audience better! 🤝
🖼️ Free digital and custom products
Selling a free digital download or a custom product? Add a Checkout Field and buyers will be asked your question before they claim it. 🎁
🎟️ 100% off coupons
If a buyer claims any of these products using a 100% discount coupon, they'll still be asked your Checkout Field question, and their answer is saved just like a normal free claim. Smooth sailing! ⛵
⏳ Not yet available for 1:1 coaching
There isn't currently a way for buyers to claim a free 1:1 coaching session, so Checkout Fields can't be asked there yet. This is planned for later, stay tuned! 👀
