This guide walks you through creating a membership post based on the theme you’re using.

Updated over a week ago

Want to keep your subscribers engaged with exclusive content? Whether you’re sharing deep-dive lessons, bonus resources, or community updates, Membership Posts let you deliver the right content to the right audience—without duplicating your work.

Before You Start

  • You must have at least one membership tier created

  • Membership posts can include video, image, audio, text, PDFs, or live content

  • The same post can be reused across memberships, digital products, and courses

Creating a Membership Post (Storefront Theme)

If you’re using the Storefront theme, follow these steps:

🔑Step 1: Go to Memberships

  1. From the left-hand menu, click the dropdown arrow next to My Hub

  2. Select Memberships

  3. On the Memberships page, click + Add Membership Post (top-right corner)

    OR
If this is your first post then click on "+Create Your First Post" button in the center instead .

Step 2: Add Media & Basic Details

In the Media settings, set up your post:

  1. Select the media type you want to upload

    • Video, image, audio, text, PDF, or live

  2. Add a post title

  3. Write a post description

  4. Click Next to continue

Step 3: Post Settings

Now you’ll define who can access this post and how it’s organized.

Choose a Category

  • Select a post category (for example: Coaching, Strategy, Recipes)

  • Categories help members filter content later, so choose carefully

Select Membership Tier(s)

  • Choose which membership tier(s) can access this post

Add to a Collection (Optional)

Collections help organize content and sell course-style experiences inside memberships.

  • Click the dropdown to select an existing collection

  • Or click New to create one:

    • Add a thumbnail

    • Name the collection

    • Click Create

Click Next to continue.

Step 4: Options

These optional settings let you reuse the same post across multiple products.

Set a Price (Optional)

  • Enter a price to sell this post as a one-off digital product

  • The post will appear on your Hub as a standalone purchase

Include in a Course (Optional)

  • Select an existing course from the dropdown

  • The post will be added as a lesson in that course

💡 These options are helpful if you want the same content available in multiple formats—without re-uploading.

Schedule the Post (Optional)

  • Choose a future date and time to publish

  • Members will see a countdown until it goes live

Step 5: Publish

Click Publish to make your membership post live 🎉

Creating a Membership Post (Hub / App Theme)

If you’re using the Hub or App theme, the creation flow starts differently—but the post setup is the same.

Step 1: Access Membership Posts

You’ve got two ways to get started:

Option 1: Through My Hub

  1. Click My Hub from the left-hand sidebar

  2. Under your profile name and image, select Membership

  3. Click New Membership Post

Option 2: Direct Access

  1. Click Membership directly from the left-hand dashboard menu

  2. Click + New Membership Post (top-right corner)

Step 2: Create the Post

From here on, the steps are identical to the Storefront theme:

  • Choose media type

  • Add title and description

  • Set post category

  • Select membership tier(s)

  • Add to collections (optional)

  • Set pricing, course inclusion, or scheduling (optional)

  • Publish your post

🗂️ Pro Tip: Use Categories & Collections Together

  • Categories help members filter posts by topic

  • Collections group posts into structured series (like courses or challenges)

✨ Use clear titles and eye-catching thumbnails to make your content easy to discover and enjoyable to explore.

You’re All Set 🎉

Your membership post is now live and available to the right audience.
You can edit or reuse it anytime—across memberships, courses, or digital products.
