You can connect Margo to your Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Threads, and X accounts to auto-post content. Go to Settings or Integrations to add a connection.
Which platforms can Margo auto-post to?
Margo can auto-publish to:
Instagram: Carousels and image posts (once Meta has approved auto-posting)
LinkedIn: Posts and carousels
Threads: Posts
For these platforms, when you schedule a post and the scheduled time arrives, Margo posts it to your account automatically. You do not need to do anything.
For other platforms (Facebook, TikTok, Twitter/X, YouTube), and whilst your Instagram connection is being set up, Margo emails the finished post to you at the scheduled time, and you post it yourself. This is not a fault; Margo is working as designed.
How to connect Instagram
Go to Settings or Integrations
Tap Connect Instagram
Sign in with your Instagram account (or the Meta account that owns your Instagram)
Grant the permissions Margo asks for
Your account is connected
Once connected, Margo can read your followers and recent performance. Auto-posting to Instagram requires Meta App Review approval first. Most creators can post once approved by Meta; until then, Margo emails posts to you instead.
How to connect LinkedIn
Go to Settings or Integrations
Tap Connect LinkedIn
Sign in with your LinkedIn account
Grant the permission to post on your behalf
Your account is connected
LinkedIn auto-posting is live and working. Margo can post text, carousels, and linked articles to your profile.
How to connect Threads and X
Go to Settings or Integrations
Tap Connect Threads or Connect X
Sign in with your account
Grant the permissions
Your account is connected
Threads and X connections are built and ready. You need to enter your credentials before you can turn on auto-posting for scheduled content.
How to connect Facebook
Go to Settings or Integrations
Tap Connect Facebook
Sign in with your Facebook account (or the Meta account that owns your Facebook Page)
Grant the permissions to access your Page
Your account is connected
Once connected, Margo emails scheduled posts to you for manual posting.
Disconnecting an account
You can disconnect a platform at any time in Settings or Integrations. This does not delete any posts or affect your social account. You can reconnect later if you change your mind.
Why is my connection not working?
Instagram: You may not be approved by Meta yet, or your token may have expired. Disconnect and reconnect your account.
LinkedIn: Your token may have expired. Disconnect and reconnect.
General: If you changed your social media password, disconnect and reconnect to update your token.
If a connection stays broken, try disconnecting, waiting a minute, and reconnecting.
