If you received an email saying "Your WithMe subscription has been canceled. We're sorry to see you go" and you did not cancel anything, your subscription is almost certainly still active. Here is why that email goes out.
1. You moved from a monthly plan to an annual plan
This is the most common reason. When your plan changes, our payment processor (Stripe) closes the old subscription and opens the new one. Closing the old subscription automatically triggers the cancellation confirmation email, even though your account carried straight on to the new plan.
Nothing was lost. Your hub, your customers and your content are untouched.
2. We tidied up an old or duplicate subscription
If you had an old subscription sitting on your account that was no longer being billed, our team may have removed it so your billing is clean. Stripe sends the same cancellation email when that happens. Your current subscription is not affected.
3. You changed your payment card
Changing your card does not cancel your subscription. If the email arrived around the same time you updated your card, the cause will be one of the two reasons above rather than the card change itself.
How to check for yourself in under a minute
Log into your WithMe account.
Click Settings in the bottom left corner.
Open Billing.
If you see an active subscription with a next renewal date, everything is working normally and you can ignore the email.
If Billing shows no active subscription
Then something has genuinely gone wrong and we want to fix it. Reply to this conversation with the email address on your account and we will look it up and put it right.
A note on other billing emails
A cancellation confirmation is different from a payment reminder or a failed payment notice. If you are receiving payment reminders after cancelling on purpose, see our separate article on Stripe billing emails after cancellation.
