A membership product on WithMe lets you charge members on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) in exchange for ongoing access to content, perks, or a community. You can create up to 3 paid tiers and 1 free tier, all from your Hub dashboard.
🚀 What Is a Membership Product on WithMe?
A membership allows creators to offer ongoing value instead of one-time products.
Common uses include:
Exclusive posts or content drops
Community access
Courses or learning material
Live sessions or updates
Free or paid memberships
📌 Important to Know Before You Start
Membership consists of tiers (free and paid).
Tiers can be hierarchical (stacked) or isolated.
You can edit tiers later, even after publishing.
How to Create a Membership Tier
Step 1: Go to Your Hub
Log in to your WithMe account: withme.so/login
From the left menu, click My Hub
Scroll down and click + Add Product
Step 2: Choose Memberships
Step 3: Set Up Tier Details
In the Details section, fill out the following:
Product title: Name your membership tier
Thumbnail: Upload an image that represents your tier
Button text: Customize the call-to-action (for example, Join now)
Click Next to continue.
Step 4: Set-up Checkout Page
In the Checkout section, configure how your membership appears and is sold.
Landing Page Setup
Add media: Upload up to 10 images or videos
Canva designs are supported and the best pick (the size auto-adjusts to the frame)
Add description: This appears below the media and product title on the Sales/landing page
Membership Hierarchy
Choose how this tier relates to other tiers:
Hierarchy (stacked tiers)
Higher tiers include access to content from lower tiers
Lower tiers cannot access higher-tier content
Best practice: Share content across tiers to avoid duplicate uploads while allowing some additional exclusive premium perks to the higher tier members
Isolated tiers
Standalone tiers with no shared content
Best for completely separate offerings
📌Note:
1.)You need at least two active memberships to configure the hierarchy.
2.)This is a general setting that will affect all membership tiers. Changes made here will apply to your entire membership structure.
Pricing
Set a monthly price, annual price, or both
Members can choose their preferred billing option if both are enabled.
Add Membership tier Benefits
Choose what members get access to:
Click on "Add Benefits" and add up to 4 benefits
Select from predefined benefit options
Can't find what you're looking for? Add your own! Write custom perks in your own words using "Add your Own" at the bottom or "Custom benefit - write your own" option present at the top
Add messages as membership benefit
Click on "Finish Adding Benefits"
Examples:
Exclusive posts
Courses
Community access
Live sessions
Messages (Membership Benefit)
You can include Messages as a benefit in a membership tier to give members free message credits each month.
When enabled, members receive a set number of free messages every month as part of their subscription—making this a great premium perk for higher tiers.
How Messages Work
Select Messages from the benefits list when setting up a tier
Choose how many free messages members receive per month
Message credits reset monthly as long as the membership is active
Why Use Messages as a Benefit?
Encourage direct engagement with members
Add clear, recurring value to premium tiers
Incentivize upgrades without adding extra content
💡 Tip: Messages work best in higher-priced tiers where members expect more direct access or support.
Click Next to continue.
Step 6: Set Up Optional Settings & Publish
Customize how your membership is delivered and monetized. These settings are optional—enable only what makes sense for your membership setup.
Enable Free Trial (Optional)
Offer a free trial so users can explore your content before committing.
How it works
Choose a trial length from the dropdown
Members get full access during the trial
At the end of the trial, they are automatically charged unless they cancel
To disable trials, leave this set to No Trial
💡 Tip: Free trials often increase conversions, but offering full access upfront may reduce immediate revenue.
Enable Free Membership Tier (Optional)
Enable a free membership tier to let users join without paying.
Important to know
You don’t create a free tier the same way as paid tiers
The free tier is enabled globally by toggling this setting on any paid tier
Disabling it from any paid tier turns it off everywhere—no need to update multiple tiers
What free members get
Access to free content
Email updates
A simple way for you to collect leads and convert them into paying members
✅ Recommended for:
Creators building an audience or offering previews
Creators with a strong, consistent content pipeline
Businesses with a clear upgrade funnel
❌ Not ideal for:
Established creators with high demand
Premium or exclusive content providers
Services that require significant 1-on-1 time
Community Access
Choose which communities members in this tier can access.
When you create a new community:
The community name is taken from the product name
You can edit the name later from the product page
Publish Your Tier
Review your settings, then click Push Tier to publish 🎉
Your membership tier is now live.
