Your First Paying Member in 7 Days

A quick-start playbook to get your first paying subscriber within your first week on Creator Hub.

Updated this week

A Quick-Start Playbook for Creator Hub Trialists

One goal. Seven days. One paying subscriber.
This isn't about building the perfect hub. It's about getting paid.

Why This Matters

Most creators spend their entire trial building, tweaking, and "getting ready." Then the trial ends. They quit because they never felt momentum.

The data is brutal:

  • Creators who get their first sale are 8.1x more likely to succeed

  • After hub launch, the product goes silent — creators are left alone in the most critical phase

The creators who make it large have one thing in common: they got their first subscriber in the first week.

This playbook does one thing — gets you to that moment as fast as possible.

The 3 Things to Do This Week

✅ Thing 1: Set Your Price & Hit Go (Today — 20 mins)

Don't wait for perfect. Start at a price that feels slightly uncomfortable.

Most creators underprice out of fear. Charge what feels fair for what you'd deliver over a month.

Starter Pricing Framework

Your Situation

Suggested Price

Why

Just starting out, small audience

£10–£20/month

Low barrier, build proof fast

Some following, established content

£20–£35/month

Sweet spot — most successful creators start here

Known expert, proven results

£35–£60/month

Your audience already trusts you

💡 Can't decide? Start at £29/month. You can always change it later. The worst price is no price — it means no one can pay you.

Go-Live Checklist (do it right now):

  • Set your membership price in Creator Hub (if stuck, pick £29 — adjust later)

  • Write 1–2 sentences explaining what members get (your "pitch")

  • Connect your bank for payouts to Set your hub live

  • Check your user flow and links by testing it yourself : detail

  • Copy your hub link — you'll need it in 10 minutes

💡 The #1 mistake: Leaving your hub in draft. People can't join what they can't see. Go live today.

📢 Thing 2: Tell Your Existing Audience (Days 1–3 — 30 mins)

You don't need a big launch. You need to tell the people who already follow you.

The goal: Tell 50–200 people who already know you. Convert even 1–2 and you've won.

⚠️ This is the step most creators skip — and it's the #1 reason they quit. After going live, the product doesn't prompt you to share. So most creators launch, share once (or not at all), get no traction, and assume the platform doesn't work. It does work — but only if people know you exist.

🎯 The "First 10" Challenge

Before anything else, write down 10 specific people who match your ideal member. Not strangers — real people who know you. Friends, clients, colleagues, people who've DMed you, people who've commented on your posts.

Now message every single one. Personally.

💬WhatsApp / DM to Your First 10

Don't broadcast. Pick each person individually.

Message them:

"Hey [name]! Just launched my new [type] membership — [one line on what it is]. Thought of you because [specific reason]. Here's the link if you want to check it out: [link] — no pressure at all!"

Personal = 10x more conversions than broadcast. The "because" is what makes it work.

Email Template (Send to your email list today)

For [price]/month you get [list 2-3 specific things: e.g., weekly workouts, a private community, monthly Q&As].

Link in bio to join ⬆️

Drop a ❤️ if you'd be interested — I'd love to know!

🎯 Thing 3: Post One Quick-Win Content Piece (Days 3–5 — 45 mins)

Give away something genuinely useful for free. Make people think "if the free stuff is this good, the paid must be great."

Format options (pick one):

Option A: "My Top 3 [Tips] for [Your Niche]"

Simple carousel post or short video. Actionable, specific, doable.

Example: "3 things I wish I knew in my first 6 months of training"

Option B: Behind-the-Scenes / "What You Get"

Show a sneak peek of what's inside your hub. Make it feel exclusive.

Example: "Here's what's waiting for you when you join my hub this week 👀"

Option C: A Quick Win Tutorial

Teach one specific thing that gets someone a result in 5 minutes.

Example: "The 10-minute morning routine that changed everything for me"

End every piece of content with a clear CTA:

"I just opened up spots in my membership this week — link in bio/comments."

Your 7-Day Checklist

Day

Action

Why It Matters

Day 1 (Today)

You can't sell what doesn't exist

Day 2

Send your email to your list + message your first 5 from the "First 10" list

Warm audience = fastest path to first sale

Day 3

Post on Instagram + message the other 5 from your list

Volume of personal outreach = conversions

Day 4

Post your quick-win content piece

Free value → paid curiosity

Day 5

Follow up with anyone who opened your email or liked the post

Most sales come from follow-ups, not first touches

Day 6

Share one more post / story with a "last chance this week" angle

Urgency drives action

Day 7

Celebrate your first member or review what to adjust

Either way, you have clarity

Founding Member Offer (Your Secret Weapon)

If you want to stack the odds even more, add a founding member offer during your first week:

  • 30-50% off your regular price for the first 10 members

  • Makes the "yes" easier for people on the fence

  • Creates urgency ("only X spots left")

  • Gives you social proof and testimonials to use later

"I'm opening 10 founding member spots at [discounted price]/month this week only. Once they're gone, it goes to [regular price]. Want one?"

What If Nobody Joins in 7 Days?

That's data, not failure. Ask yourself:

  1. Did I actually tell people? (Most don't — they hint. Check: did I personally message 10+ people?)

  2. Is my price-to-value clear at a glance? (Visit your own hub as a stranger — would you pay?)

  3. Did I use personal outreach, or just broadcast? (DMs > posts for first sale)

  4. Did I follow up? (Most sales happen on the 2nd or 3rd touch, not the first)

Adjust one variable and repeat. The worst outcome is doing nothing and never knowing.

Still stuck? We've got you:

Option 1 — Creator Bootcamp: We walk you through the exact sales system, positioning, and launch strategy. Step by step.

Option 2 — Done-For-You: We build your entire hub — products, pages, checkout. You go from zero to selling in 48 hours. $269, one-time.

Option 3 — Just ask: Reply to any of our emails with "help" and we'll personally work through what's blocking you.

Remember

The creators who succeed with Creator Hub aren't the ones who build the best hub.
They're the ones who get comfortable asking people to pay them.

This playbook is about that first "yes." Once you have it, everything changes.
